BUDE STRATTON TOWN COUNCIL

To support my freelancing work with Bude Website Design, I joined Bude Stratton Town Council for a while on a part-time basis. It was supposed to be a stop-gap but it ended up being much more than that - I really enjoyed getting stuck into updating the council's outdated communications strategy, and I made some great, lifelong friends during my time there.

My role at the town council involved website design and web content management, preparing proactive and reactive press releases for local press and online publications, event marketing, the creation of quarterly newsletters, and more. During the role I also took on all marketing for The Castle and Bude Library.
